Wow! What a day we had at the Garden Walk

Well, the Point Loma Garden Walk held last Saturday, April 24th, was a HUGE success. We had record attendance, well over 1,000 people went on the walk and tour; the Garden Boutique was the most successful yet. It was a happy day and the weather, once again, cooperated - in nine years we've never had rain.
The tickets desk in the morning was a pretty busy place.

We had a new vendor this year, Linda Ray with her Rustic Iron Furniture: Plant stands, flower posts, arbors, trellises, benches, chairs, tables - sold like hotcakes!

Welcome Linda! We hope you'll join us next year, too.

Lizzy B's Jewelry (Gina) was a big hit again this year with her one-of-a kind jewelry creations.
Enjoy the photos!

Lisa Loria of VintageBling4U pleased the crowd with her bling!

The yards were amazing, with lots of water features. This creek running through the yard looks like it is natural.
The homes in the wooded area of Point Loma are exquisite - everyone felt like they were in secret gardens. This neighborhood is a gem, very private and secluded.
This chair was embellished and planted by the Auxiliary members. It was raffled off for $320 which will be give to CranioFacial Services of Rady Children's Hospital.

Cardamom Cafe & Bakery setup at the entrance to the Garden Boutique with their fresh coffee in the morning and baked organic breads, scones and croissants - all made from scratch. Wow, were they busy! Later they had an incredible chicken salad for lunch.

What a terrific event!

That looked like so much fun. No Garden Walk for me, but I am going to a antique fair in a few weeks that will be fun!
